Rikuo Nura, a three-quarters human who lives a seemingly normal life while secretly being the heir to the powerful Nura yokai clan. He initially resists his destiny as the Third Heir, but after facing his first major challenge from the antagonist Gyuki, he gradually accepts his yokai heritage and starts to gather allies to secure his leadership. The season covers the Gyūki and Shikoku Arcs, culminating in Rikuo officially assuming leadership after defeating the rival Tamazuki clan.
